At The Settings, we understand that nothing we do can improve on Nature itself, which is why we strive to work with the environment, building our communities to blend with the landscape, complement the surroundings and become an integral part of the natural world they inhabit. When we select a location for a new community, developing a plan to maintain the environmental integrity of the area is an essential part of the process. In fact, it's frequently the first step.In each of our communities, we take care to preserve a large percentage of the available land as permanent greenspace. Our communities are not simply random collections of houses sitting on top of the land. Instead, they are essential complements to the land, timeless places that exist in harmony, in balance with the woods, waters and wonder that make the landscape come alive.
When you visit a community from The Settings, you may feel part of something bigger, something more majestic and magical than at other places in the area. That's because we take care to incorporate something almost indefinable into the land plan for each of our communities: the great outdoors.
